Hi all my friends out there on the world wide web ,I was just sitting here thinking none of really know much about me so I figure I should maybe give you all a brief deion of my life, I will start off my letting you all know if I dont respond to a comment or message for a few days sometimes longer it is not because I am avoiding anyone or interested in getting to know any of you but I have two boys ages 9 and 11 my eleven year old son has been battling a brain and spine tumors since 2004 so my life sometimes get really hectic lots of doctors ,tests Traveling to St Judes in Memphis,Tn its been roller coaster ride from hell trying to care for one and reassure my youngest that he is as important as his brother as I have missed nearly every single first in my youngest sons life since he was five (first day of kindergarden,first conferances,first plays,first assembly,etc... ) As for my oldest he has had 2 major Brain surgeries the first one lasting 21 hrs and the second one lasting 18 hours so to say I have learned a couple major lessons one IS NEVER EVER EVER TAKE LIFE FORGRANTED LOVE YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS EVERYDAY AS IF IT WERE YOUR LAST AS WE HAS WATCHED MANY BABIES LOSE THEIR BATTLE TO THIS AWFUL MONSTER NAMED CANCER, THE SECOND BIG LESSON IS TO HURRY UP AND WAIT ,MY SON HAS HAD HIS LIFETIME SAFE DOSAGE OF RADIATION FULL BRAIN AND SPINE BY THE AGE OF NINE HE SPENT WEEKS ON A FEEDING TUBE AND HAS BEEN ON SO MANY DIFFERENT CHEMOTHERAPIES I COULDN"T EVEN BEGIN TO LIST THEM WITHOUT PULLING OUT HIS MEDICAL RECORDS ,BUT PLEASE KNOW THIS JOURNAL IS NOT TO ASK FOR PITY. IF YOU FEEL THE NEED TO DO ANYTHING FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER RESEARCH NOT ON MY PROFILE THERE IS A GROUP LINKED TO ST.JUDES CHILDRENS RESEARCH HOSPITAL THERE IS LOTS AND LOTS OF FUNDING OUT THERE FOR ADULT RESEARCH BUT WHAT ABOUT OUR BABIES OR GRANDBABIES THEY NEED HELP THE MOST.
