Why is the grass green?
And why are some people so mean?
Why is life so confusing?
Yet, sometimes we find it amusing

Why do birds chirp,
And not bark?
Why is the day bright,
And not dark?

Why do we laugh
When other people are hurt?
Why do u like me for my outside
And not for what I am worth?

Why is the sky blue
And not yellow?
Why are some people
So self-centred and shallow?

Why do I love you so much?
The world will never know
Why do some girls
Put themselves on show?

For the rest of our lives
The question will be 'why?'
If you ask me the answer
I don't know why..
