I like to make e-pals as I spend a lot of time on the Net and enjoy getting to know people from their words and also reading between their lines.I don't talk about myself unless you ask. I could be reserved to start with but can open up soon if you also share your views and news.I can converse easily on a lot of subjects and if I cannot I will tell you. I have always been travelling , since the age of 18. I have visited places from SF to Tokyo, but not crossed the Pacific!!! but I look forward to visit S. America, Africa, Australia and N Zealand.I have also seen most places in India in the course of my career. During the last seven years I travelled , mainly for volunteering.I do expect those who become my friends to keep in touch and I promise to do the same.

Since I have seen folks of other cultures I believe that under the skin and at heart all people are the same, whether white, brown,black or yellow.Only the cultures and the conditioning are different; which I want to understand through talking. I prefer email as I don't visit chat rooms.
I am interested in the social norms of day to day living in different lands. Do you folks retain your traditional beliefs and values ? Are all persons well treated and respected. This century will belong increasingly to women, I believe. Are they respected and liberated in your land ?
