A Poem About "Us"
First it was you,
Then following was me,
It seems we were friends no others would be.
Then a drastic step was taken,
And everything changed,
Where you and me as we knew it had been rearranged.
I noticed i had a liking towards you,
Not alone it seems.... that you liked me too.
Then titles were given; Girlfriend and boy,
A relationship began that no one could destroy.
I am yours and you mine,
Stupid it would be if someone decline.
Love came between you and I to stay,
Yes we argue its true,
But our committment had began something new.
Now i know cupid didnt lose his touch,
Because he put "me" and "you" and turned that into "us".
