I close my eyes, imagine a big hall
Where infants are from each part of the world
Wouldn't it be a great experiment?
To see them all laying in one big bed?

Aren't all of them lovable?
Aren't all of them adorable?
Can you feel the hatress to anyone?
Or the feeling of love is predominant?

If we kept them in one place
Let all together raise
We might not find any trace
Of searching for their difference

What happens with babies when they grow?
Why when adults they start the war?
Where has vanished that inner child
Which used to spread love all around?

I came up with this idea after reading "Desert Flower" by Waris Derie. She is an African supermodel who, at the age of 5, had the most severe form of female genital mutilation performed on her.
