My family - I have 2 sons and 1 daughter and 7 grandchildren, meeting people from all around the world. Golf, Bowling (not so much now), Computers, gardening(I find it very relaxing) and for the past few months I have taught myself how to cook a lot better with using different herbs and spices and ingredients. I am a real whiz in the kitchen now so I have been told.

A very warm hello to all my friends. Well I am finally here in Tasmania and staying with my eldest son and his family till I get my own home. I have been here for 6 weeks now and it is just so amazing being here at long last. My son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren were so excited when I arrived here and it feels great to be loved. It was a big change for me to move here and I am so glad I finally did it. It is so beautiful and peaceful here and there are lots and lots of places to see and things to do. I will miss my family back in NSW but it is only an hour and half by plane. I will be going back to Bathurst in November for my youngest son's graduation from High School. The drive from Bathurst to Melbourne was a good one and I had to stop a few times to let my little dog George out for a walk and toilet break..lol. We drove onto the boat about 7pm and crossed Bass Straight during the night and arrived in Tasmania at 7am the following morning. I have put a few pics that I have taken at my son's home and once I get my camera fixed I will be putting more pics in the Tasmania album. I will keep you informed in my progress here. Bye for now.
