Just wanted a cheap solution so... Amd Athlon 64x2 3600+ 2Ghz (overclocked to 2.6Ghz)... Double core in 1 die... Great solution if you dont wanna give a fortune for 4 cores of no use... (hey big twinz... nice cpu... used to kick some intel ass back there...)

just tell me......do you actually use all 4 cores at once...? like..com'on... there is'nt any software available witch you can use 4 cores at once so why paying foe sth i'm not gonna use... (i'm certainly not going to play 'crysis' while i'm burning a dvd and converting a video at the same time....so...????)

its true none all programs (frankly the minority)use 4 cores, however its a future proof solution. Frequency can be compensated by larger cache, performance can be even more boosted with ocing it. its up to whoever..:T:
