As per Indian philosophy world is Maya (means what are we seeing not real we can understand in this way when we see a dream we feel that it is real, what ever happen we believe that that is real, So question is that when we were sleeping that was a dream or when you are reading it, It is a dream . That’s why Indian philosophy says that world is Maya and only we are real.
Like this topic you've posted, involves more perception :)
True, what can one define as the truth and real. Are really in a dreamworld, where they feel they are experiencing real things. Are we experiencing real things, which prove predictively truthful..?
Is the term 'real' objective or subjective to each person?
Danny, The caste system should be abolished and shunned at all times. One who belives in the caste system, and treat other's as if they more lower than them, acting as if they are superior, should be punished. It's saddening really, because i come from fron the second caste of the hierachical system (Kshatriya)or Warrior, and alot of people in India are still treated as Untouchables, like they were when Ardra, and Genghis Khan were present, alongside more famous Hindu traditions.
Danny, The caste system is a structural foundation based within the religion Hinduism. I respect those who follow the caste system, and will agree to disagree with their views, although i will intensely dislike their own views or will not say snything further, because it would be naive to try and change someone's opinions, without the facts, empirical evidence, and letting someone experience this for themselves.
E.g Brahmins are supposed to be scholars, high minded teachers that are very well respected within India's society, and those who believe in them anywhere else. However if they feel they are superior enough, to treat Untouchables or Shudras like low human beings with no dignity. e.g. Make them clean the toilet, or clean outside areas, treat them like slaves only because of them being a low class caste is shameful and disgusting. Mahatma Gandhi were also a Brahmin (Priests, Scholars, who firstly hated the Untouchables with a passion, but realised the seriousness of the situation. Those who follow this pattern of behaviour who are educated enough to understand this need to be punished. Because it stil exists today, even in Sikhism where the caste system should be abolished, however majority of Sikhs use the caste system to distinguish who is more superior and who is not.
It seems that there is an interpretation of reality and reality itself where we are included.
Each individual makes its own model of the reality. Some groups of people shares points of view, or models.
From physics, things are composed by other things and there are relations that create more things...
I think I have to surrender to the idea that my model of reality is always put in test... and the precious thing is what I feel in day-to-day life... the most important thing is our hability to sense reality :)
Did you saw the movie "City of Angels"... at the end, Seth (nicolas Cage) says that he would prefer a second of time to feel love, than an eternity without feeling it...
