well i was sent here with the request by Paul
umm so where do i start :) well i want to help the hi5 staff to create another language like Hungarian (Magyar in our language). I can offer my services for free and i already "translated" one site to hungarian the site is www.wadja.com so i have experience init. Lot's of Hungarian people are useing hi5 and it would be great if the site could have Hungarian language to because like 70% of the Hungarian people can't really speak english and some of my friends dont join the community because of that. It would be a honor for me if i could help the team to make the translation but 1st i want to get some oppinions of other members to. With Respect NeXaG0n Posted by † ‹з NeXa ‹з Ramy ‹з † NeXaGOn

Hi friend from Magyarország,
It's very interesting to see new people who want to help in the translation of this site into their language. Hi5 is going to became a multilingual site, perhaps the first in its sort with so many language choices and we're very happy about it. It would be really nice to see your language 'magyar'(ˈmɒɟɒr̪ :) in our hi5 language family, we hope so. In some weeks our language will be present in hi5 for the greek hi5 community as many other languages before it were added too. I had many friends from Magyar Köztársaság and i know you prefer this term "magyar" more than the English terms:Hungarians, Hungary for your country. It's the same in our case; our country is Hellas (and not Greece)our language Hellenic (not Greek):)) So we wish you all to see one day hi5 in "ˈmɒɟɒr̪" friend. Greetings fron Hellas and happy new year. Posted by Panos Maced

Hi again Nexagon,
I'm sure you're going to have shortly the response of hi5 team about the translation into your language. I wish your plans proceed soon even in a volontier level. I 've already noticed you come from Roumania. I know that the magyar minority in Roumania isn't "minority"... almost 1,5 million of magyars live there. Lot's of people. After the Treaty of Trianon i guess this has happened. In addition i know that there are minorities in Slovakia and Serbia (Vojvodina)!! Well, i don't know more at the moment :)) Good luck mate have a great week-end Posted by Panos Maced

Actually, in the case of the Hellenic language, there is a translation team which has been occupied with our trnaslation. A group , for the native speakers and their remarks, has been already created so i guess that in your case it will be the same. Unfortunately, i'm not responsible for the hi5 Languages and so to give you more info. I'm sure you'll be informed in time when hi5 starts the process.
