Doesn't it suck when your childhood friend whom you always dreamed of being with for a lifetime....is getting married to somone else? It sucks and it hurts.....I know it obviously wasn't meant to be then but I still feel that deep down we should be together. He was my first crush and I have honestly wanted this since I was 4 years old. I always talked about us being together. Now that won't happen. How do I get over this..? I'm having a hard time. And he doesn't exactly no how i'm feeling. But he might very soon we are talking right now as i'm writing this. Please help me....

ok hun first things first u need to tell this guy how you feel...that will help alot trust me..then wait for the right guy to come around dont push on something that isnt going to happen i had the same thing happen to me awhile back and it hurt like hell but there isnt anything that i could of done to prevent it or stop it... sorry keep your head up and move on your better then that anyways...like my mom always says and im pretty sure alot of parents say is"theres more fish out in the sea"

THAT IS WHAT U NEED 2 DO.....LET HIM KNOW HOW YA FEEL AND GO FROM THERE........ITS BETTER 2 HAVE SOMEONE AS A FRIEND THAN NOTHING IN ALL IN YOUR LIFE.....AND IF THEY CANT RESPECT THAT, AND CHOOSE 2 "FREAK OUT" OR NOT "BE FRIENDS" WITH YA AS SOME PEOPLE CHOOSE 2 DO, REMEMBER.....ITS THERE LOSS, NOT YOURS......U AT LEAST CAN LOOK AT IT FROM THE POINT OF VIEW THAT YOU WERE BEING HONEST IN LETTING HIM KNOW.....IF YA HOLD IT BACK AND DONT SAY ANYTHING, YOU HAVE NO ONE 2 BLAME BUT YOURSELF FOR WHATEVER HAPPENS WITH THE OUTCOME ON THIS ONE.......

Thanks for the advice...and you are right. I told him everything and he completely understands. I knew it was not gonna change his decision on his marriage so i felt it was fair as well to tell him how i felt. He has no problems with it and now i honestly think we are a little closer. I still have a hard time with him getting married though. And I don't nkow how to make it to the wedding...He wants me there so bad and to be honest I would be so heart broken if he didn't go to mine. So what do i do though? I dont want to see him get married but i know it will hurt him. but if i go it will hurt me. So either way someone is gonna be hurt.

THanks for the advice Crissy. I added you as a friend if that is cool. I'm beat right now but i did talk to him and for the most part everything is cool. He totally understands what i am feeling and why i told him. So we are doing good. But I'm still hurting but it takes time as well to get over something like this. Anyways hope to hear back soon. If your on tonight or whenever you get this if you want ot call me sometime that would be cool too. Sometimes i get sick of typing back and forth. But otherwise feel free to keep typing i will respond...my cell number is 507-380-5234 and you can call anytime. I honestly would care a less what time it is.
