The Peace Initiative is a youth organisation focused on creating awareness of the need for peace, respect within communities and transforming the thinking of the younger generation to be more open, rationalised and accommodative. Whilst subscribing to the view that there should be unity in diversity, we believe that a well informed and open generation of youth would be the bridge between diverse societies that we experience today.
The Peace Initiative was founded by a group of committed young professionals and students who believed in contributing their knowledge and skills towards the well-being of Sri Lanka.
