hola pues instale ubuntu 8.0 desde windows(ya q ubuntu trae una opcion para instalarlo), pero tengo un problema.... no puedo entrar a la interfas grafica jeje... y escribo la contraseña y todo y no me deja entrar.... y creo otra cuenta desd la consola y tampoco me la acepta al momento de entrar a la interfas grafica..... q puedo hacer?

are you trying to say about starting any of new software like music player, or office?
what error message is? to know the error message just write in terminal dmsg. this will open system logs. try to find the error.

or if you are trying to say about internet session, i mean any command or setting, you must first set the proper tool (suppose SAMBA etc).

If you dont know hot to do, and you r able to understand english well, goto http://ubuntuforums.org.
register yourself and search for proper thread in search menu.

Also if you want ho have support in locan language goto
http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community/locallanguage
hopefully you'll get proper help there.

my guess is your X have problems,

go to a shell ctrl alt+f9 i belive, or just alt f1-f6
The idea is to kill x and in bash reconfigurate x,
first of all take a copy of /etc/X11/xorg.conf
then try:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
shoose vesa drivers if you dont know your card, nv is nice for all nvidia cards, dont take nvidia, in first step, that is the properitary 3d driver, and can give you problems right now..

follow the guide and save the config
reboot your x with
sudo /etc/init.d/gdm restart
or reboot your computer

useardd will work nice, but i remeber debian have a nice inbuild script for making account, use the command adduser instead, then you vill make a proper account in ubuntu too..
